How many times have you sat down to watch an entire wedding video? My guess is not very often. That's why many couples I work with tend to opt for a short highlights clip (often set to their favorite song) that captures all the highlights of the day in a format that is fun to watch for guests who couldn't make it, ready-made to share on social media, and simply a beautiful, accessible memory to have around when you want to look back on the big day. Most of the footage you see in these clips is taken with my camera and supplemented by my videographer (if the couple has for these services). Sometimes, couples prefer to get both the full video coverage for posterity's sake (it can also be organized neatly into chapters) as well as a highlights clip for the best of both worlds.
